YOUTH

GROWTH IN COMMUNITY
WHERE STUDENTS GROW IN CONNECTIONS & FAITH
Students that grow with faith tend to do better academically and socially in school, and later on in college. Now is the time to get your kids involved with First UMCs program for students.
Wednesday Night
Wednesday night is our student night, where we gather for a fantastic time of fun, games, and, of course, study. Whether we're playing a thrilling game of dodgeball, enjoying delicious snacks, or studying, we embrace the opportunity to worship while having a blast!
OUR Sunday School
Sunday School is held weekly and is an opportunity to connect and catch up during the week. We have a shortened time together in between services where we do a short devotional and roses and thorns.
CONNECT &
VOLUNTEER
Students play a crucial role in our Sunday morning experience. We provide dedicated time for them to connect with one another, allowing them to gather around our service times. This valuable opportunity allows them to catch up and integrate themselves into the broader Church community. We have many youth plugged in to serving roles on Sunday mornings.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Here at First UMC, our message and mission is to help people know Jesus, stay curious and live out their faith.
When are gatherings?
Our youth group meets for Sunday School, Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. in the youth room upstairs in the Education hallway.
We also meet Wednesdays after supper from 6-7 p.m.
Throughout the year we typically have a fall retreat, join in on the Big InterGenerational Trip (B.I.G.), go on field trips, and participate in service opportunities.
