Dara Davis

Dara Pickren-Davis has worked in church ministry for over 19 years. She has served at various churches including St. Luke UMC in Savannah, Bethel in Stockbridge, Kingsland First UMC in Kingsland, St. Marys UMC in St. Marys, and First Presbyterian Church in Fernandina Beach, Fl. Her favorite church events include Fall Festivals, Christmas Cantatas, and VBS!



Dara's favorite bible verse is Isaiah 41:10 “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Dara has been a teacher and has taught toddlers through college-age children in public and private school settings. She has been instrumental in starting numerous children’s and youth choirs and theatre groups including the Guam Symphony Society’s Dandan Famagu’on Children’s Choir, SHOUT! Youth Choir, Kingsland Station Players in Kingsland, Georgia, and the Blue Bridge Penguin Project.

Dara holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music with a Certificate in Vocal Performance from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida and a Master of Arts degree in Theatre Production from Central Washington University in Ellensburg, Washington.

Dara is an avid traveler, theme-park lover, and scuba diver! She shares her love of adventuring with her family, husband of 20 years, Howard, and their three children, Hall, Ella, and Allie.
