Dickey Tipton

A Brunswick native, Alexandria Tipton returned home in 2018 to serve as Director of Youth Ministry at First United Methodist Church of Brunswick. She first felt called to youth ministry during her freshman year of college—a call that continues to shape her life and vocation.

After earning her B.A. in Organizational Communication from Middle Tennessee State University, Alexandria and her husband, Andrew, followed God’s leading back to South Georgia from Nashville, Tennessee. They now joyfully raise their three children—Avalyn, Anderson, and Alexander—right here in the Brunswick community.

Alexandria later earned her Master of Christian Practice from Duke Divinity School and is currently pursuing ordination as a Deacon in the United Methodist Church. Her passion lies in helping youth recognize God’s grace in their own stories and grow in faith that leads to service.

Her ministry blends creativity, authenticity, and joy—often fueled by a Coke Zero and a spicy Chick-fil-A sandwich!
